When you visit British Columbia, it doesn’t take long to understand why people say “west is best.” In a place where you can go snowboarding and surfing, where you can go wine touring or honky tonkin’, BC really does have everything. Heck, cannabis use was even a social norm long before Canadian legalization happened in 2018.
I grew up with family in BC’s lower mainland (think Vancouver and area), and worked at kids camps there during the summers when I was younger, so it is like a second home to me. Traveling through BC always makes me wonder why I don’t live there, and one of these days I might just pack my bags and hit the coast for good.
